What does the acronym APRO stand for?

It's shorthand for Aerial Phenomena Research Organisation. Founded in 1952 by Jim and Corel Lorenzen. APRO, now extinct (1988), was the longest running of UFO world and one of the two civilian research groups, victim of a CIA Robertson Panel control.
